Larry “Kentucky” D. Johnson, 73, of Orangeville, died Sunday, March 30, 2014 at his home.

Born May 10, 1940 in South Shore, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Leroy Johnson and Violet (Webb) Fannin, and was raised by his grandparents, the late Albert Brady and Iva Lena Webb.

He worked for many years at the former Zenith Corporation, Watsontown as well as the former Warsaw Industries, Milton.

He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion, Watsontown.

Surviving are three sons, Jayme (Sherry) Johnson, of Hughesville, Shawn (Wendy) Johnson, of Clarkstown and George (Amber) Johnson, of Orangeville; two daughters, Ronnee Johnson, of Sunbury and Beth (Scott) Yonkin, of South  Williamsport; seven brothers, Clyde “Bud” Fannin, of New York, Omer Fannin, of South Carolina, Charles Fannin and Patrick Fannin, both of Kentucky, Byron “Bud” Johnson, of Florida, and Roy “Deed” and Timothy Johnson, both of Ohio; two sisters, Teresa Loffler, of Florida and Susan Brown, of Arkansas; 24 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, he was predeceased by one daughter, Ivalena Mae Johnson; two brothers, Brady Fannin and Stephen Johnson; two sisters, Sharon and Shelva Johnson; one grandson, Owyn Yonkin; and one great-grandson, Blake Moore.

A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to Noon Thursday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.  A graveside service will follow in Muncy Cemetery at 12:30 p.m. with R. Christian Dunlap, Columbia Montour Hospice Chaplain officiating.
