Laurie E. Tubbs, 62, of Muncy, died Tuesday, September 24, 2019 at her home, after a long battle with cancer.

Born January 24, 1957 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Nelson R. Cameron Sr. and Beth L. (Stepp) Cameron, who survives. She and her husband, Barry Allen Tubbs, celebrated 33 years of marriage before his death Aug. 3, 2015.

Laurie was a 1975 graduate of Montgomery High School. She worked  at Offray, Watsontown for many years.

She enjoyed going to concerts and playing Bingo. Laurie loved to cook, especially for the holidays and most of all was fond of spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her mother, of Montgomery are a daughter, Kristen L. Tubbs, of Muncy; a brother and sister-in-law, Nelson Jr. and Crystal Cameron, of Danville; a sister, Cheryl Melencio, of Arlington, VA; numerous nieces and nephews; and a grand dog, Luxx.

In addition to her father and husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Stacy Waldman and a brother-in-law, Reynario Melencio.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. with the Pastor Michael Reece, of Delaware Run Wesleyan Church, officiating.
