Linda Lee (Conard) Ensinger, 51, of 1816 Washington Ave., Lewisburg, after a hard and courageous battle with cancer went home to her Lord and Savior, Tuesday, June 17, 2014 at the Milton Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born October 6, 1962 in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Jack and Geraldine (Connolly) Conard.

Linda was a graduate of Milton High School and the former Williamsport Business School. Socially outgoing, she worked a number of jobs at the same time, including Subway in Lewisburg, Dr. Daniels office, Milton and as a caretaker for her brother-in-law, Kevin. Linda also worked as a medical transcriptionist at Evangelical Community Hospital for 24 years.

She was a member of Crossroads Church of the Nazarene, Milton.

An enthusiastic cat lover, Linda was a foster mother to kittens delivered to the SPCA in Danville. She enjoyed traveling, especially to the beach and loved spending time with her family and friends, most notably her grandchildren.

Surviving are three daughters, Brittany Mitstifer, of Lewisburg, Shannon Ensinger, of Sunbury and Kelsey Ensinger, of Lewisburg; a brother and sister-in-law, Jack Jr. and Angie Conard, of New Columbia; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Judith and Jim Downer, of Milton, Ruth and Kevin Horlacher, of Lewisburg and Jackie and Jack Harris, of Houtzdale; four grandchildren, Cole Ensinger, Alyssa and Colin Mitstifer and Ryan Ensinger; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 28 at the Crossroads Church of the Nazarene, 71 Nazarene Lane, Milton, with Pastor Larry C. Keiser, officiating. A meal will follow the service at the church.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to either T & D Cat World, P. O. Box 186, Mountain Rd., Penns Creek, PA 17862 or to Lycoming Animal Protection Society (LAPS), 195 Phillips Park Dr., S. Williamsport, PA 17702 or to Evangelical Annual Fund, 1 Hospital Dr., Lewisburg, PA 17837.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St. Lewisburg.
