Linda J. Sipe, 70, of 22 Heatherbrooke Estates, Muncy, died Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the Muncy Valley Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center.

Born March 26, 1944 in Bath, NY, she was a daughter of the late Raymond “Bud” Lyon and Wilma Jean (Gelder) Lyon, of Lewisburg. On September 3, 1988 she married Terry “Ted” Sipe, who survives. Together they celebrated 25 years of marriage.

Linda was a 1962 graduate of Horseheads High School, NY.  She retired in 2008 from the former Sprout-Waldon, now Andritz, where she worked in finance and Accounts Receivable.

She attended Grace Baptist Church, Muncy.

Linda had many interests including painting, crocheting and ceramics.  She was very artistic and enjoyed working on a wide array of projects.

Surviving in addition to her husband are one son, Todd Bogenrief and wife Kim, of Montoursville; one daughter, Peggy Reynolds and husband Robert, of Nancy, KY; one stepson, Brett Sipe and wife, Paula, of Hughesville; three sisters, Peg Lynn, of Corning, NY, Sue Wells, of McArthur, OH, and Laurie Yost and husband James, of Rockport, IL; seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and two beloved Schnauzer’s, Gibbs and Magee.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by one brother-in-law, Ray Wells.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday in Twin Hills Memorial Park, 3332 Lycoming Mall Rd, Muncy.  Officiating will be Rev. Charles Teffeteller, pastor of Grace Baptist Church, Muncy.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the Lycoming County S.P.C.A. 2805 Reach Rd., Williamsport, PA 17701.

The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
