Linda R. Trutt

Linda R. Trutt, 76, of Williamsport, died on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 at home with her family by her side.

Born February 16, 1948 in York, she was a daughter of the late Melvin and Irene (Shiffer) Stahl.  On January 15, 1966 she married Bill Trutt, who survives.

Linda attended Milton High School and worked many years as a hairdresser and beautician.  She later retired from Mom’s Diner, Williamsport.

Linda was a member of Nippenose Bible Fellowship.

She enjoyed crafting, sewing and quilting, creating many beautiful dresses.

Surviving in addition to her husband are three children, Tina Day, of Dewart, Jodie Reiner and her husband, Thomas, of Milton, and BillyJack Trutt, of Williamsport; one brother, Ken Stahl, of Lewisburg; three sisters, Yvonne Shuman, of Hughesville, Kathy Grady, of Montgomery, and Sherry Fay, of Watsontown; five grandchildren, Amanda, Justina, Amber, Thomas, and Audrey; and seven great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Ryder, Maverick, Kenley, Mason, Jorja, and Elsie.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one brother, Melvin “Sonny” Stahl; two siblings in infancy, Wayne and Sheryl Stahl; and one granddaughter, Megan Trutt.

Private services will be held in Sunrise Cemetery, rural Lewisburg.
