Luis Orlando Medina, 75, of Lewisburg, passed away Tuesday, February 24, at Riverwoods, Lewisburg.
He was born December 22, 1939 in Arezibo, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Luis M. and Maria I. (Perez) Medina. On September 21, 1977 he married the former Luz Berrios, who survives. Together they celebrated 37 years of marriage.
Luis attended h2church in Sunbury.
He retired after 21 years as a New York City bus driver.
Luis enjoyed playing in bands while growing up. He played both the conga drums and Timbales.
Surviving in addition to his wife are seven children, Jorge Zambrana, Jose Medina, Maria Diaz and husband, Humberto, Elba Arenas and husband, Luis, Luis Medina, Joel Velazquez and Gilbert Torres; one brother, Tomas David Medina; 16 grandchildren and four great-granddaughters.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one son, Luis O. Medina, Jr.; two brothers, Ernesto and Eladio Medina; and one sister, Haydee Velazquez.
The family is planning a memorial service at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 1 at h2church, 450 Chestnut St., Sunbury, PA 17801.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St. Lewisburg.
