M. Marie Scholl, 91, of Milton, passed away Friday, December 27, 2024, at Milton Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
Born May 20, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Rachel (Dye) Dyer. On December 19, 1953, she married G. Wallace “Wally” Scholl, who preceded her in death on November 11, 1989. Together they celebrated 35 years of marriage.
Marie was a 1951 graduate of Milton High school. She worked for the former JPM Industries until it closed. Marie then worked in the kitchen at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village until her retirement.
She loved watching NASCAR and earlier in life, enjoyed going camping.
Surviving are her children, Dora Walter and her husband, Greg, of Lewisburg, Kathy Long and her husband, Donald, of Danville and Gary Scholl, of Milton; brother, Roy Dyer and his wife, Deb, of Milton; granddaughter, Trisha Milheim and her husband, Aaron; step grandson, Doug Walter and his wife, Heather; step grandson-in-law, Steve Walter; eight great-grandchildren, Kaden, Cameron, Reese and Reagan Milheim and Makenna, Harper, Bret and Brendan Walter.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by three brothers, Frank, Raymond and Myron Dyer and a step granddaughter, Wendy Walter.
Friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. on Monday, December 30 at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, South Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg, where a funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. with Pastor Ethan Shearer, officiating.
Burial will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.
