Margaret Evelyn Greiner, 103, a longtime resident of Watsontown, died Monday March 2, 2015 at the Watsontown Health & Rehab Center.

She was born December 1, 1911 in Mill Hall, a daughter of the late Thomas Robert and Anna Myrtle (Johnson) Allen.  On July 25, 1934 she married Gerald LeVan Greiner, who preceded her in death on July 31, 1963.  Together they celebrated 29 years of marriage.

Margaret was a 1929 graduate of Watsontown High School.  In the early to mid 1930's, she worked at the former Milton shirt factory.  She later worked with her husband at Greiner's hardware and sporting goods, Watsontown, for many years and continued as owner/operator after her husband's death.

She was a member of Watsontown United Methodist Church.

Margaret enjoyed reading, knitting, bowling, playing cards and sewing.  She cherished her family and always loved spending time with her sisters.

Surviving are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Allen Frank and Anne "Shirley" Greiner, of Conn., and Wayne Edward Greiner and companion, Terri French, of Watsontown; eight grandchildren, Lisa Corbin, Laura Guerrero, Thomas Greiner, Sean Greiner, Neil Greiner, Elaine Greiner, Melinda Pick and Michael Trump; and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by one daughter, Marijane Greiner; three sisters, Mary Huffman, Madeline McIntyre and Barbara "Jane" Stephens; and one brother, Max Allen.

A private graveside service will be held at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery, with her minister, Pastor Ryan Krauss, officiating.
