Marie Iva Warren

Marie Iva (Sharrow) Warren, 87, of Watsontown, passed away Monday, March 31, 2014 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born May 10, 1926, a daughter of the late Harley E. and Beatrice W. (Brown) Sharrow.  On September 25, 1948, she married Harold E. Warren, who survives.

Marie spent most of her life caring for her husband and children.  She was an awesome cook and housewife.  In her younger years she was active in camping, gardening and participated in her Native Culture at pow-wows.

She will be forever missed and remembered by her family.

In addition to her loving husband, of Watsontown, she is survived by three daughters; Vicki Watts, of Milton, Susan Kelly, of Lansford and Nancy "Willow" Kaltenbaugh, of Mississippi; two sons, Steven Warren, of Georgia and David Warren, of Montgomery; twin sister, Marion Cole and sister, Margeret Williams; one brother, Harley Sharrow; six grandsons, nine granddaughters and 17 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one sister, Charlotte Sharrow; and three granddaughters, Sarah Kelly, Beth Warren and Heather Thomas-Hockenbrock.

A special mention to two granddaughters that Marie helped raise, Rachel Warren and Felicia Shub, both of Montgomery.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 3 at 1:30 p.m. in the Chapel at Green Lawn Memorial Park, Rt. 54, Montgomery, PA 17752.
