Marjorie A. “Marge” Reitmeyer, 72, of 36 Center St., Watsontown, passed away Saturday, September 20, 2014 at her home.

Born August 17, 1942 in Sunbury, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Helen (Lloyd) Clark. On November 5, 1971 she married Stanley E. Reitmeyer, who preceded her in death January 26, 2009, after 37 years of marriage.

Marge was a 1960 graduate of Sunbury High School. She worked in retail sales, retiring in 2006.

Marge was a member of Pennsdale Trinity United Methodist Church, where she served on the mission committee and was often a Sunday greeter. Marge was also a member of the Sunbury Senior Action Center and the Christian Women’s Club, Lewisburg.

She enjoyed being a volunteer at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg. Marge was an avid reader and loved doing cross stitch and spending time with her cats.

Surviving are a son & daughter-in-law, Andrew M. and Stephanie Reitmeyer, of Muncy; a sister, Mercy Snyder, of Lewisburg; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Judy Clark, of Fairfield, OH; and one niece and one nephew.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Michael Clark, who died July 2014 and Richard Andrew Clark, who died in infancy.

Friends will be received from 2 to 3 p.m. Thursday, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where a memorial service will be held at 3 p.m.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in Northumberland Memorial Park, Stonington.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to either Pennsdale Trinity United Methodist Church, 658 Village Rd., Pennsdale, PA 17756 or to Lycoming Animal Protection Society (LAPS), 195 Phillips Park Dr., South Williamsport, PA 17702.
