Mary Frances Coleman

Mary Frances Coleman, 82, of Lewisburg, PA, formerly of Annapolis, MD, died Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Riverwoods in Lewisburg.

She was born March 20, 1938 in Chattanooga, TN, the daughter of the late Cecil Fletcher Holland and Alice (Carden) Holland. She grew up in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area, and in 1979 married James E.M. Coleman. Together they shared 32 happy years in Annapolis, Maryland before his death in 2011.

Mary Frances loved sailing, reading, solving mountains of crossword puzzles, corresponding with her wide circle of friends and relatives, and spending time with her dear friends in Annapolis.

She is survived by a brother, Cecil Holland, Jr. (Jean) of Brooklyn, NY; two sisters, Carden Holland and Martha Holland (John Rickard) of Lewisburg; two nephews, Stephen Rickard (Kelly) of Washington, D.C. and James Rickard (Jeannette Herbert) of Redwood City, CA. She is also survived by her great nephew, Liam Rickard of Washington, D.C., her great niece, Sophia Rickard of Redwood City and her beloved schipperke, Keya.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home in Lewisburg and requests that donations in her memory be made to a local food bank to help folks survive this difficult pandemic time.

A memorial gathering will be planned for a later date.
