Mary A. Macciocca

Mary A. Macciocca, 83, of Dewart, died on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at her home.

She was born November 29, 1936 in Milton, a daughter of the late Elmer and Mary (Botts) Walburn.  She married her first husband, David Dewalt, and later her second husband, Donald Macciocca, who both preceded her in death.

Mary attended grade school in Milton and later retired from JPM Industries, Lewisburg. She was an avid beekeeper, selling a lot of honey through the years.

She was baptized as a teenager and of the Methodist faith.

Mary was a member of the Clyde F. Mowrer American Legion Post 323, Women’s Auxiliary, Watsontown.

She loved having her morning coffee while chatting with her neighbors.  Mary enjoyed gardening, canning, and was very fond of animals, especially her “garden bunnies” and the family dog, Trudy.

Surviving are one son, Dennis Dewalt, of Milton; two brothers, Harold Walburn, of Montgomery, and Eugene Walburn, of Muncy; one grandson and his family, Michael Walburn; and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands, she was predeceased by two sons, Larry Walburn and Jeffrey Dewalt; six brothers, Alan, Elmer, Robert, William, Kenneth and Howard Walburn; and two sisters, Eleanor Kulp and Hazel Walburn.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main Street, Watsontown.
