Mary Ann Schuster

Mary Ann Schuster, 77, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at her home.

Born December 8, 1938 in Wilks-Barre, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Albina (Kosierowski) Mock.  On August 8, 1959, she married Walter M. Schuster, who survives.  Together they celebrated 56 years of marriage.

Mary Ann was a 1956 graduate of Marymount Catholic High School. She worked for the former Weller Vending Company at the former Pennsylvania House for 15 years.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Church, Lewisburg, where she was a member of the Counsel of Catholic Women.

Mary Ann was a den mother of troop 3538.

She loved playing cards, Sudoku and crossword puzzles. Mary Ann was very talented at crocheting and oil painting. She enjoyed both having yard sales and going to them. Being fond of traveling, Mary Ann enjoyed going on cruises.

Mary Ann was an excellent cook and loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband are son, Walter A. Schuster, DMD and wife, Cathryn, of Nazareth and their three children, W. Ryan, Alexander and Lauren; son, David P. Schuster, of Dewey Beach, DE and his daughter, Claire; sister, Christine Menendez, of Wilkes-Barre; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Janice and John Lehet, of Titusville, NJ; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Manuel Menendez.

Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Church, 814 St. Louis St., Lewisburg, with her pastor, the Rev. Msgr. William Richardson, officiating.

Burial will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.
