Michael W. Peterman

Michael W. Peterman, 67, of Muncy, died Friday, February 27, 2015 at Muncy Valley Hospital E.R.
Born on June 25, 1947 in Muncy, he was a son of the late G. Warren and Pauline R. (Michael) Peterman.
Michael was a 1965 graduate of Muncy High School. He received his bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in 1969. Michael then served honorably in the United States Air Force. Following his service he earned his MBA from Bloomsburg University.
He retired from Ford Motor Company as an industrial engineer after 33 years.
Michael was an active member of the First United Methodist Church, Muncy, where he participated with the Keenagers and the United Methodist Men. He also served on various church committees.
He was also a member of the Consolidated Sportsmen of Lycoming County.
Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, Penn State football and the New York Yankees.
Surviving are one sister, Gail E. Nuss, of Hughesville; two nieces, Kristin Nuss, of Baltimore, MD and Valerie Nuss, of Hughesville; one great niece, Paige Wright and two aunts, Ruth Diltz, of Hughesville and Betty Rohm and her husband Ken, of Camp Hill.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one aunt, Marian Derrick.
Friends will be received from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, March 6, at First United Methodist Church, 602 S. Market St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 1 p.m. with his pastor, Rev. Arlene P. Beechert, officiating.
Burial will follow in Muncy Cemetery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions be made to the First United Methodist Church-Celebration Center, 602 S. Market St., Muncy, PA 17756.
