Myron K. LeVan, 84, of Muncy, died Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family.
Born October 22, 1939 in Montgomery, he was a son of the late Nelson E. and Helen A. (Wertman) LeVan. On June 28, 1957, he married the former Dorothy “Dottie” Neufer. Together they celebrated 62 years of marriage prior to her death Nov. 30, 2019.
Myron was a 1957 graduate of Muncy High School. He was the owner operator of a trucking company, traveling over the road for many years, before selling his truck and driving for others. Following retirement from PJAX, Montgomery, Myron helped his son for 10 years with his business, Mike’s Electrical Repair.
Earlier in life, he enjoyed snow mobiling and traveling with Dottie, visiting numerous state parks and going to NASCAR races. Myron was fond of John Deere tractors and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees and the Green Bay Packers.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Coreen LeVan, of Muncy; four grandchildren, Corey Gray, Brooke Gray, Lacey Masser and Travis LeVan; six great-grandchildren, Jacob, Gavin, Lilly, Noah, Carson and Cameron; and his devoted dachshund, Wyatt.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Vickie LeVan Gray; and two brothers, Nelson and Paul LeVan.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with Pastor Stephen Gray III, officiating.
Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Montgomery.
