Nancy K. Derrick

Nancy K. Derrick, 75, of Muncy, passed away Friday, December 20, 2019 at UPMC Susquehanna, Williamsport

Born September 13, 1944 in Muncy, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. and Emma M. (Watson) Schell.

Nancy graduated from Muncy High School.  She worked for local businesses including MidPenn Telephone Company and Kellogg’s, later retiring from Construction Specialties.

Nancy was a member of the Roland Ritter American Legion Post 268 of Muncy.

She enjoyed watching jeopardy, playing quizzo, and trivia games of all kinds.  Nancy was an avid fan of the Alabama Crimson tide.  Most of all, she loved the companionship of her two puggies, Brodie and Brudder.

Surviving in addition to her beloved dogs are three sons and one daughter-in-law, Steve Derrick, of Muncy, Scott and Lisa Derrick, of Sunbury, and H. Michael Derrick, of Muncy; three grandchildren, Courtney, Taylor and Kelsey; and one great-granddaughter, Olivia.

Friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Friday at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where a Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. with Rev. Matthew Waggoner, of Twin Hills Church of the Nazarene, officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to Grenoble Funeral Home, 121 S. Main St. Muncy, PA 17756 to help defray funeral costs, or to a charity of one’s choice.
