Nancy A. Kahler, 88, of Montgomery, passed away Friday, January 24, 2025 at UPMC, Williamsport.
She was born March 16, 1936 in Muncy, the daughter of the late Wilmer and Geraldine (Dewald) Waltman. On June 22, 1957 she married William K. Kahler, who survives. Together they celebrated 67 years of marriage.
Nancy was a 1954 graduate of Muncy High School. She worked at the former Weldon Manufacturing, Muncy, and the former Isaac Decker Furniture Company, Montgomery.
She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran “Brick” Church, Montgomery.
Nancy was a true caregiver and spent her life dedicated to family. Her primary passions in life were tending to her flowers and her family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two children, William Kahler Jr. and his wife, Cheryl Burchfield, of Titusville, FL, and James Kahler and his wife, Michele, of Springfield, OR; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by one son, Roger Kahler; and one brother, Mark Waltman.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, January 30 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St. Muncy, where a funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. Ron Montgomery and James Girven, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Muncy Cemetery.
