Nona Ann (Tilburg) Winder Laubach

Nona Ann (Tilburg) Winder Laubach, 85, of Montgomery, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Muncy Place.

Born October 9, 1938, in Montgomery, she was a daughter of the late William B. Sr. and Margaret (Yost) Tilburg.  She was preceded in death by her first husband, Earl P. Winder, Jr. on December 28, 1972. She later married Mahlon Laubach in 1974, who also preceded her in death.

Nona  was a 1957 graduate of Montgomery-Clinton High School. She and Earl worked side by side at their business, Winder Sunoco.  She also spent quality time at home raising her family.

Nona loved hosting parties with her families and friends.  She also enjoyed playing cards.

Nona was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Montgomery.

Surviving are her son Phillip E. (Susan) Winder, of Montgomery; a brother, William Tilburg, Jr., of Milton; a sister, Betty Jane (Rod) Gohl, of Montgomery; six grandchildren, Anne Marie (Jake) Walters, Kenneth (Felicia) Winder, Jonathan (Tiffany) Winder, Jeremy (Amber) Winder, Breielle and Sawyer; 12 great-grandchildren, Matthew, Nathan, Avry, Jacob, Harley, Abigail, Hunter, Hayden, Paislei, Rosalei, Sophie and Bryson.

In addition to her parents and both of her husbands, Nona was predeceased by a son Keith A. Winder; a baby sister Connie; and a sister-in-law, Ruth Tilburg.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main Street, Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 11 a.m. with Rev. James Pentz, officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Nona’s  name be made to Muncy Place, In Care of Susquehanna Health Foundation, 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.
