Pamela Jo Hauck

June 27, 1964 — January 6, 2018

Pamela Jo Hauck, 53, formerly of Watsontown and most recently of Danville, passed away Saturday, January 6, 2018 at Milton Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born June 27, 1964 in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Sonia (Smith) Long and McClellan Long and his wife, Elaine, who survive.

Pamela was a 1982 graduate of Warrior Run High School.  She previously worked at the former JPM Industries and Edmonds Group, both of Lewisburg.  Pamela was currently employed at Quick Med Claims, Danville.

She was raised in the Lutheran faith.

Pamela was very crafty and enjoyed wood burning.  She also loved to cook and tend to her flower gardens.  Early in life, she was a volunteer firefighter and EMT in Watsontown.  She was a big football fan, proud of both her Penn State Nittany Lions and Pittsburg Steelers.  Pamela also was fond of her three dogs, Calvin, Cammi and Peanut.  Most important to her was family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her father and stepmother are one son, Matthew Long and his wife, Stephanie, of Shrewsbury, one brother, John Long and his wife, Michelle, of Conestoga; one sister, Valerie Huff and her husband, Devlon, of Bremen, Germany; two stepbrothers, Jason Ellis, of Williamsport, and James Ellis and his wife, Jamie, of Mount Holly Springs; and two grandchildren, Mason and Madilynn.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown, where a funeral service will be held at 7 p.m. with the Rev. James H. Fladland, of  First Lutheran Church, Watsontown, officiating.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions in Pamela’s name be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St. Williamsport, PA 17701 or online at www. cancer.org.
