Patricia L. Matrey

Patricia L. Matrey, 82, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, March 16, 2025 at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.

Born April 16, 1942 in Winfield, she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Fay (VanBuskirk) Morris. On Jul 27, 1983 she married William Paul Matrey and together celebrated five years or marriage until his death on August 2, 1988.

Pat was a 1960 graduate of Lewisburg High School. She worked for many years at Meixell-Diehl Insurance, Lewisburg, where she later retired.

She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lewisburg.

In earlier years, Pat enjoyed bus trips with her sister, Joyce, including trips to Women in Faith conferences.

Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Julie and Steve Godfrey, of Milton; one sister, Joyce Hummel, of Lewisburg; and one sister-in-law, Kathy Morris, of Lewisburg.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one son, Michael Herman; one brother, Ron Morris; and one brother-in-law, Harry Hummel.

A private graveside service will be held in St. Joseph Cemetery, Milton.
