Patrick W. Harman, 76, of 172 E. Water St.., Muncy, died Thursday, September 4, 2014 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Born September 9, 1937 in Hughesville he was a son of the late V. Wilbur and G. Marie (Keebler) Harman. On July 18, 1964, he married the former Margaret R. Robb, who survives. Together they celebrated 50 years of marriage.
Patrick was a 1956 graduate of Hughesville High School. He served honorably in the United States Navy. Patrick began his working career as a barber in Muncy and retired from the former J.K. Rishel Furniture Co., Williamsport when it closed.
He attended New Hope Community Fellowship, Muncy.
Patrick was a member of the Model A. Ford Club. He also enjoyed reading and woodworking.
Surviving in addition to his wife are one daughter, Ellen M. Harman, of Muncy; one son and daughter-in-law, Allen W. and Monna M. Harman, of Catawissa; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and Gerald Gordner, of Muncy, Sharon and Larry Jarrett, of Windgap and Penny and Wendall Neiswanger, of Rootstown, OH; two grandchildren, Brendan M. McGinnis and Kayla M. McGinnis; and three great-grandchildren, Jayce K. Reed, Chloe R. McGinnis and Sydney M. McGinnis.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with Dr. Harry Dilcher, pastor of New Hope Community Fellowship, officiating.
Burial will follow in Twin Hills Memorial Park.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association, 5455 N. High St. Columbus, OH 43214.
