Pauline E. Lynch Reitz

Pauline E. Lynch Reitz, 98, formerly of  Montandon, passed away Monday, March 14, 2016, at Watsontown Health and Rehab Center, where she resided for the last seven years.

She was born September 2, 1917 in Milton, a daughter of the late Roy B. Weikel and Anna (Sypher) Weikel Wolfe . She and her husband, Dix Jackson Reitz, celebrated 50 years of marriage before his death on July 2, 2013.

Earlier in life, Pauline worked at the former Montgomery Mills. After marriage she stayed home raising and caring for her family. Pauline also helped around the farm, growing and selling vegetables.

Pauline was a life member of Christ Lutheran Church, Milton.

She enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Shirley Lynch, of Allenwood; three grandchildren and their spouses, Donald and Julie Lynch, Brian and Jodi Lynch and Joy and Brian Fornwalt; and four great-grandchildren, Chase, Cheyenne, Logan and Quinn Lynch.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Donald J. Lynch, in 1961; a sister, Thelma Weller and one great-grandson, Cody Lynch.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, in Montandon Cemetery, with Pastor Steve Middernacht, interim pastor of Christ Lutheran Church, Milton, officiating.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions be made to Christ Lutheran Church, 1125 Mahoning St., Milton, PA 17847.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown.
