Peter P. Distefano

Peter P. Distefano, 91, of Watsontown, died Wednesday, February 26, 2025 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

Born January 30, 1934 in Drumore Twp., Lancaster County, he was a son of the late Anthony and Clara (Schofield) Distefano. He and his wife, Beverly (Dunlap) Distefano were married on May 21, 1960 and together shared 64 years of marriage.

Following high school, Peter served honorably in the United States Army.

Her retired after 41 years from the PPL Montour power plant.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a sister-in-law, Margaret Reitz; a niece, Kim Reitz; and a nephew, Jeff Reitz.

Private burial will be held in Watsontown Cemetery.
