Priscilla D. Frey

Priscilla D. Frey, 81,of 1 Center Ave. Muncy, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior, January 3, 2016 at her home.

Born July 9, 1934 in Montoursville, she was a daughter of the late Lewis and Estella (Saxon) Bennett. She married George Alan Frey, who preceded her in death February 5, 2008. Together they celebrated 36 years of marriage.

Priscilla graduated from Muncy High School and served in the United States Navy from 1952 to 1956.   Following her time in the Navy, she graduated from the Williamsport School of Commerce and worked various jobs before retiring from the Muncy State Correctional Institute as an administrative assistant.

She was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Muncy for 43 years.

Priscilla was a loving wife and was a gentle soul to all. She loved and accepted the Lord early in life and served him the best she could. She was very fond of her pet dogs Charlie and Skippy who were great company to her.

Surviving are two sisters, June Edwards and Beryl Dirk, both of Muncy; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, Harry and Gary Bennett; and three sisters, Mildred Magargle, Lola McCarty and Jackie Haynes.

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, January 7 in Muncy Cemetery, with her pastor, the Rev. Charles Teffeteller, officiating.

The family will provide the flowers and suggest memorial contributions be made to Grace Baptist Church, 5471 Clarkstown Rd., Muncy, PA 17756.

The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
