Richard G. Facer

Richard G. Facer, 57, of Winfield, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 4, 2017.

Rick is survived by his wife of 32 years, Karen L Facer; children, Cara Facer Powers (Brian Powers) and Meghan Facer (Brad Crebs); brother, John Facer, his wife, Diane Facer, and their children, Jared, Alicia, and  Justine; in-laws, Arthur and Vernetta Wagner, Charlyn and Robert Brouse, Kristin Kelly, Jacob Kelly, Lindsay Brouse, and Nick Ney.

He was preceded in death by his parents Richard J. and Marvel Facer.

Rick was a graduate of Lewisburg Area High School, Class of 1977 and SUN Area Technical Institute. He was a life member of the Union Township Volunteer Fire Company, member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, New Berlin, member of the Loyal Order of Moose 1173, Selinsgrove,  and the High Valley Gun Club. Rick was employed by Sunbury Generation, LLC.

In closing this is already two paragraphs longer than he would have liked so we will continue to live by one of his favorite phrases, “You can’t look back, only forward”.

Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg.

The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, at the Emmanuel United Methodist Church, Plum and High streets, New Berlin, with his pastor, the Rev. Ronald Warfel, officiating. The family requests in true Rick fashion, wear your jeans.

Burial will follow in Chestnut Hills Cemetery, Winfield.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions in Rick’s name be made to the Union Township Volunteer Fire Company, P. O. Box 27, Winfield, PA 17889.
