Robert L. Davidson

Robert L. Davidson, 68, of Muncy, died Monday, December 4, 2023 at UPMC, Williamsport.

He was born August 25, 1955 in Williamsport, a son of the late James Davidson and Shirley (Brittain) Sheesley. On July 9, 1977 he married the former Penny Baysore, who survives.  Together they celebrated 46 years of marriage.

Robert attended Muncy Schools and served honorably in the United States Army. Following his service, he worked as an auto technician for BMW and Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep, where he later retired. Following retirement he delivered parts for AutoZone.

He was a member of the New Life Church, Pennsdale.

Robert loved hunting and fishing and watching NASCAR and football.

Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Tristan (Angie Carter) Davidson, of Milton; one daughter , Stephanie (Adam) Herr, of Hughesville; a brother, Bradley (Kathy) Davidson, of NC; a sister, Susan (Scott) Edwards, of Hughesville; six grandchildren, Gabriel, Hunter, Hannah, Madison, Adriane, and Abigail; and one great-grandchild on the way, Elijah.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Edward Jamison.

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 8 at New Life Temple, 1006 Village Road, Muncy, with Rev. Robert Lauver, officiating.  The family will have a time of greeting following the memorial service.
