Robert H. “Mack” McCauley, 66, of 35 N. Main St., Muncy, died Thursday, September 15, 2016 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.
Born November 5, 1950 in Sayre, he was a son of the late Hugh and Mary (Sweeny) McCauley.
Mack was a graduate of Athens High School and a graduate of Mansfield University, where he received his bachelor’s of arts in teaching. Through his employment Mack became a certified addiction counselor and subsequently worked as a drug and alcohol counselor at the Huntington Prison and the State Correctional Institute, Muncy, until retirement.
He was a member of the Church of the Resurrection, Muncy.
Mack held a great appreciation for music and motorcycles. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are a daughter, Megan McCauley, of New Albany; a brother, Jim McCauley, of South Williamsport; a sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Jim Sodano, of Stanhope, NJ; two nieces, Kristen Sodano, of Stanhope, NJ and Alison Kiernan McCauley, of Montgomery; and two nephews, Jimmy (Melissa) Sodano and Jake McCauley, both of Pittsburgh.
There will be no services.
The family requests memorial contributions in Mack’s name be made to the American Cancer Society, Lycoming Unit, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.
The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
