Robert J. Strausser, 92, formerly of 2906 White Birch Lane, Bloomsburg, died Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Susquehanna Skilled Nursing & Rehab Center at the Muncy Valley Hospital, where he had been a resident since February 1, 2010. He was the son of Joseph and Lenna Labour Strausser.
He attended Bloomsburg High School and served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during WWll.
Bob was a member of the Bloomsburg post # 273 American Legion.
He was preceded in death by his wife the former Shirley Natschke , his parents, and two brothers.
Surviving are three daughters , a son and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
In keeping with his wishes, funeral services will be private.
