Robert L. "Bob" Wagner

Robert L. “Bob” Wagner, 73, of Lewisburg, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at his home.

He was born November 9, 1942 in Dry Valley, a son of the late Gilbert T. and Miriam H. (Herman) Wagner. On September 14, 2002 he married the former Joanne Arner, who survives. Together they celebrated 13 years of marriage.

Bob was a 1961 graduate of Lewisburg High School. He served honorably in the National Guard.  Bob worked as a printer at the former Focht Printing and the former Miller Printing before working at the Kelly Township Municipal Authority.

He was a member of Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, where he sang in the men’s chorus.

Bob loved fishing and spotting deer. He also enjoyed meeting his friends for coffee at Perkins.

Surviving in addition to his wife are one son and daughter-in-law, Lanny and Lynn Wagner, of Lewisburg; three step sons, Todd Garman, of York, Chris Garman, of Danville and Gregg Garman, of Northumberland; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Shelvia and David Wagner, of Mifflinburg and Tammy and Mike Rote, of Lewisburg; two grandchildren, Riley Wagner and Connor McCollum; two step grandchildren, Erin Moffit and Brittany Haulman; and two step great-grandchildren, Nathan Hopper and Aubree Haulman.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his first wife, Donna R. Hummel.

Friends will be received from 11:30 to 1 p.m. Saturday at Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 S. Third St., Lewisburg, where a Funeral Service will be held at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Gregory Kramer, of Faith Lutheran Church, Lewisburg, officiating assisted by Pastor Jeffrey Yount.

Burial will follow in Lewisburg Cemetery.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests contributions be made to Christ's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 100 S. Third St., Lewisburg, PA 17837.

The family is being assisted by Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St. Lewisburg.
