Roger W. Frantz

Roger W. Frantz, 85, of Muncy, passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at his home.

Born April 27, 1939 in Muncy, he was a son of the late Clarence and Alma (Gardner) Frantz.  On June 10, 1960 he married the former Yuanita Fry, who survives.  Together they celebrated 64 years of marriage.

Roger was a 1957 graduate of Muncy High School and attended the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Penn College.  He retired as a draftsman from the former Sprout Waldron, now Andritz, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club.

Roger was an avid woodworker and made many furniture pieces for his families homes.  He also enjoyed camping trips earlier in life.

Surviving in addition to his wife are three children, Timothy Frantz and his wife, Cheryl, of Pennsdale, Wendy Arbushites and her husband, Frank, of Bethlehem, and Alison George and her husband, Michael, of Muncy; five grandchildren, Kassondra Ritter and her husband, Kevin, Sean Frantz and his wife, Jordan, Samantha Stahlnecker and her husband, Matt, Anthony George and Nathan George; and seven great-grandchildren, Kellie and Kody Ritter, Aspen, Laurel and Nolan Frantz, and Rylee and Colton Stahlnecker.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two premature infants.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
