Ronald K. Chrisler, 74, of Lewisburg, died Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
He was born September 14, 1945 in Philadelphia, the son of the late Harold and Helen (Boucher) Chrisler. On Aug. 3, 1985, he married the former Celeste Parente, who survives. Together they celebrated 34 years of marriage.
Ronald was a 1963 graduate of Dobbins Technical High School, Philadelphia. He worked for 37 years as a mechanic for the Philadelphia Police and Fire Departments.
Ronald was an avid book reader and movie collector. He enjoyed hunting, watching NASCAR and was a fan of the New York Yankees.
Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Anthony Chrisler and his significant other, Rachel, of Lewisburg; and a daughter, Lindsay Chrisler and her significant other, Josh, of Mifflinburg.
Friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis streets, Lewisburg, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. with Rev. Brian Vasey, pastor of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church, Williamsport, officiating.
Burial will follow in Chestnut Hills Cemetery, Winfield.
