Scott L. Lyons, 67, of Milton, died Saturday, September 17, 2022, at home surrounded by his family.
Born August 29, 1955, in Lewisburg, he was a son of the late Gordon “Ted” Lyons and Jessie (Moore) Rovenolt.
Scott attended Milton High School and served in the United States Navy. He spent half of his career in the construction industry and managed thousands of projects in Florida, New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania.
Scott was a serial entrepreneur and a patent holding inventor. His attention to detail and problem-solving abilities served him well personally and professionally. Scott loved playing cards. His sense of humor and smiled helped him to make friends easily and he never met a stranger.
Surviving are one son, Steven Lyons, of Milton; siblings, JoLana Krawitz, of North Carolina, Denny (and BJ) Rovenolt, of Milton, Tom (and Karen) Lyons, of Williamsport, Dale (and Nancy) Rovenolt, of Milton, Carlene (and Mike) Weaver, of Allenwood, Kelli (and John) Mercurio, of Stroudsburg, Carol (and Ronny) Fox, of Gettysburg and Lauree (and Wayne) Wetzel, of West Milton; and three grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his step father, Carl S. Rovenolt, step mother, Lois Lyons and brother, Carl “Sam” Rovenolt, Jr.
Services were held privately at the convenience of the family.
