Shawn Michael Newton, 32, of Floyd, VA, died Friday, August 26, 2016 at Manor Care North, Williamsport, PA.
Born May 13, 1984, in Muncy, PA, he is the son of Stephen Newton and Kristi (Irvine) Newton.
Shawn enjoyed kayaking, spending time with friends on the river and hiking in the mountains.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by a daughter, Abbie Newton, of VA, one brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Sarah Newton, of N.C.; one sister and brother-in-law, Stephanie and Philip Trostle, of Montgomery, PA; and three nephews, Spencer Trostle, Wyatt Newton and Cash Newton.
Shawn is predeceased by his maternal grandparents Sam and Pearl Irvine and paternal grandparents Millard and Margaret Newton.
Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
