Steven L. Rheam

Steven L. Rheam, 60, of McEwensville, died Sunday, August 16, 2020 at his home.

He was born April 8, 1960 in Princeton, NJ, the son of Lloyd E. and Shirley F. (Lepley) Rheam, who survive. On June 19, 1982 he married the former Carolyn Kolchak, who survives. Together they celebrated 38 years of marriage.

Steven was a 1978 graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, NJ.  He earned an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration from Rider College, now Rider University, NJ.  He previously worked at Montgomery Plumbing Supply, Montoursville and later, part time, for George Geib, CPA.

Steven most recently attended Church of the Resurrection, Muncy.

He was a member of the Augusta Regiment, which participated in Revolutionary War reenactments.  Steve was also a proud mentor to three young men through the Big Brothers program.  He was an avid model train collector and restorer, especially Lionel’s.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Michael Rheam and his wife, Christy, of Lafayette Hill, and Cathleen Murphy and her husband, Corey, of CA; five grandchildren, Ellie, Agatha and Harrison Rheam, and Annabelle and Finnegan Murphy.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family in United Lutheran Church Cemetery, Sunbury.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date.
