Terri L. Mcelrath

Terri L. McElrath, 54, of 193 Franklin Dr., Montgomery, died Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

Born August 9, 1961 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of Doretta (Shultz) Middlesworth, of Montgomery and the late Charles Buck. On June 28, 1986 she married Robert McElrath, who survives. Together they celebrated 29 years of marriage.

Terri attended Montgomery High School. She received her Associate degree as a paralegal from Pennsylvania College of Technology, Williamsport.

Terri worked as a paralegal at numerous Law offices in the Williamsport area. Previously, she worked at Springs Window Fashions, Montgomery.

Terri was a member of the former Christ Lutheran Church, Montgomery and was a current member of St. John’s Lutheran “Brick” Church, Montgomery.

The most important thing to Terri was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are three sons and one daughter-in-law, Ken Shafer, of Williamsport, Todd and Samantha McElrath, of Muncy and Eric McElrath, of Montgomery; three grandchildren, Caleb Shafer, Topangah and Deagan McElrath; five siblings and their spouses, Gale and Cathy Buck, of Montgomery, Darren and Margaret Buck, of Hughesville, Sage and Lars Nordmann, of Long Valley, NJ, Jack Jr. and Brenda Middlesworth, of Hughesville and Shawn and Stephanie Buck, of Montoursville; her mother-in-law, Margaret McElrath; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her step father, Jack Middlesworth, Sr.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Dr. Ronald E. Shellhamer, officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
