Terry J. Bieber, 64, of 289 Montgomery St., Montgomery, died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville
Born December 19, 1949 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Paul W. and Pauline (Baumgardner) Vollman. On October 26, 1968 she married Max Bieber, who survives. Together they celebrated 45 years of marriage.
Terry was a graduate of Montgomery High School and Bloomsburg University, where she received her master’s degree. She worked as a teacher at the Warrior Run Middle School, retiring in 2011. Terry, along with her husband, was an innkeeper at the Inn at Whispering Oaks, Montgomery.
A member of St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church, Montgomery, she was the current Vice President and former President of the church council. Terry was also a member of the Warrior Run Woman’s Club, where she was one of the founding members of Neighbors Helping Neighbors. In her spare time, she enjoyed being a Longaberger consultant and volunteering at Ashkar Elementary School, Hughesville. Terry was also fond of making crafts.
Surviving in addition to her husband are one daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer M. and Steven Foust, of Watsontown; two sons and daughters-in-law, Justin W. and Angela Bieber, of Muncy and Ryan W. and Nicole Bieber, of Montgomery; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Paul Jr. and Betty Ann Vollman, of Montgomery and Dale and Lee Ann Vollman, of Williamsport; one sister, Dianna Reed, of Harrisburg; and seven grandchildren, Samantha, Tyler and Jenna Foust, Kylie, Nathan and Hunter Bieber and Jacob Fry.
Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to noon, Saturday, at St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church, 196 Brick Church Rd., Montgomery, where the funeral will be held at noon, with her pastor, Rev. Viking Dietrich, officiating.
Burial will follow in Muncy Cemetery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to St. John Lutheran “Brick” Church, 196 Brick Church Rd., Montgomery, PA 17752.
The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
