Terry L. "Ted" Sipe

Terry L.  “Ted” Sipe, 71, of 22 Heatherbrooke Estates, Muncy, died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at the Muncy Valley Hospital.

Born December 27, 1945 in York, he was a son of the late Arthur and Mary (Ruby) Sipe. On September 3, 1988 he married the former Linda Lyon, who died August 5, 2014. Together they celebrated 25 years of marriage.

Ted  was a 1964 graduate of Dallastown High School and a 1967 graduate of the former Williamsport Area Community College, now Penn College, earning his Associates degree in Engineering Drafting Technology. He worked as a design drafter for Thermal Product Solutions and later retired in 2008 from the former Sprout-Waldron, now Andritz.

He was a member of  Grace Baptist Church, Muncy.

Ted was very passionate about woodworking.  He was an excellent craftsman making all types of furniture.  Ted was also an avid Steelers fan.  Earlier in life, he was a Muncy Pop Warner Football coach.

Surviving are one son, Brett Sipe and his wife Paula, of Hughesville; one stepson, Todd Bogenrief and his wife Kim, of TN; one stepdaughter, Peggy Reynolds and her husband Robert, of KY; one brother, Arthur Sipe Jr. and his wife Mary Catherine, of Dallastown; three sisters, Deanna Holtzinger and her husband, John, of York, Darlene Runkel and her husband, Bob, and Carla Sipe, all of FL; his significant other, Donna Gamerling, of Sunbury; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Lenis and James Sipe.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday in Twin Hills Memorial Park, 3332 Lycoming Mall Rd, Muncy, with his pastor, Rev. Charles Teffeteller, officiating.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, 1948 E. Third St., Williamsport, PA 17701.

The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
