Thelma L. Haught, 89, of Muncy, died Wednesday, April 25, 2018 surrounded by her family at the Gatehouse, Williamsport.
Born May 17,1928 in Williamsport she was a daughter of the late Clarence and Laura (Heintzelman) Mincemoyer. She married John C. “Cliff” Haught on December 8, 1945 and together they celebrated 57 years of marriage before his death on July 28, 2003.
Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother. She also enjoyed a fun loving lifestyle often traveling, attending live bands, bluegrass festivals and dancing.
Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Sandra Lee and Stanley Nelson, of Perryopolis; one son, John Haught, of Hughesville; one sister, Dorothy Gordner, of Muncy; five grandchildren Michael Nelson, Jenny Smythe, Amber (Bernie) Haught Shook, Laura (Jamie) Cottell and Jonni (Ryan) Woodling; nine great-grandchildren, Allyssa, Emily, Hannah, Kali, Olivia, Evan, Keegan, Sophia and Mia; three great-great-grandchildren, Aidan, Ethan and one due in may and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Beatrice and Robert Bieber; one granddaughter, Sherry Nelson and one brother-in-law, Henry Gordner.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Muncy Valley Skilled Nursing Unit and the Gatehouse Hospice, for the wonderful care received.
The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main Street, Muncy.
