Thomas Flagg Price

November 14, 1937 — June 3, 2015

Thomas Flagg Price, 77, of Hughesville, went to be with his Lord on June 3, 2015 at the Gatehouse, Williamsport, after a courageous battle with a long term illness.

Born November 14, 1937 in East Tawas, MI, he was the second child of the late James G. and Cora (Libby) Price.  On September 8, 1973, in Picture Rocks, he married the former Nancy G. Taggart, who survives.  Together they celebrated 41 years of marriage.

Tom was a 1955 graduate of Doylestown High School.  He served in the U. S. Army from 1957 to 1959.  Tom worked for Sears, Roebuck and Co. for over 38 years in flooring sales.

He was a longtime member of the Hughesville Baptist Church, where he held numerous offices. Tom was also a 15 year member of the Picture Rocks Lions Club.

Surviving in addition to his wife are four children and their spouses, Stephen Trinity and his wife, Vicki, of Corvalis, OR, Sarah Ryan and her husband, Mike, of Roseburg, OR, Thomas Price, of St. Helens, OR and Elwin Price and his wife, Jennifer, of Washington, UT; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Carey Price, of Millboro, DE, J. Travers and Janet Price, of Wauwatosa, WI and William “Bo” and Bonnie Price, of Green Lake, WI; a sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Paul Nelsen, of Ripon, WI; three grandchildren, Aurora Trinity, Logan and Zaria Price; four nieces and nephews; several grand nieces and grand nephews; and his beloved dog, Lori and kitty, Misty.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, at Hughesville Baptist Church, 37 N. 3rd Street, Hughesville where a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., with his pastor, the Rev. Thomas Brokaw, officiating.

Burial will be held privately in Hironimus Union Church Cemetery, Weikert.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to either the Hughesville Baptist Church, 37 N. Third St., Hughesville, PA 17737 or to the Gatehouse, make check payable to the Susquehanna Health Foundation and mail to 1001 Grampian Blvd., Williamsport, PA 17701.

The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
