Thomas E. “Tom” Shultz, 80, of Montandon, died Thursday, January 14, 2016 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.
Born December 31, 1935 in Clinton, he was a son and step-son of the late Mabel and Harold Weimer. In 1953, he married the former Opal Coffman, who survives.
Tom worked as an over the rode truck driver for many years.
He loved working on cars and could always be found tinkering with different items around the house. Tom was also quite fond of his dogs, always finding time to play with them.
Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons and one daughter-in-law, Roy Shultz, of Connellsville and Richard and Adrian Shultz, of Watsontown; one daughter, Kathryne Lubold, of Watsontown; two brothers and one sister, William Layman, Billy Lee Weimer and Sheila Yealy, all of Clinton; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by one great-grandson, Casy Shultz.
Friends will be received from 4 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 106 S. Second St., Lewisburg, where a memorial service will be held at 5 p.m. with Pastor Jeff Hauck, friend of the family, officiating.
