Victor F. Yordy, 59, of Dewart, died Friday, August 12, 2016 in Williamsport.
He was born December 1, 1956 in Lewisburg, a son of the late Russell F. Jr. and Helen M. (Heimbach) Yordy and Christine (Homan) and Pat Patel, of Arizona. He and his wife, the former Kathy Demey, were married April 13, 2002. Together they celebrated 14 years of marriage.
Victor was a 1976 graduate of Warrior Run High School. He served honorably in the United States Army.
Being very talented in crafting metals, he owned and operated The Metal Works, Dewart.
Victor loved antique cars.
Surviving are two sons, Victor Yordy and his wife Bobbi, of Muncy and Koehler Yordy, of McEwensville; three brothers, Vincent Yordy and his wife, Margaret, Veris Yordy and his wife, Crystal and Timothy Yordy and his fiancee, Justine A. Peace, all of Dewart; five sisters, Connie Bechtol and Sandra Perko and her husband, Ken, all of Watsontown and Bobbi Mathias and her husband, Harold, of Dewart. Kamala Patel and her husband Keith Kosh and Kalika Colquhoun; four grandchildren, Jimmy, Zoe, Emma and David Scott.
Friends will be received from 10 to noon Thursday, at St. John's United Church of Christ, 904 Old Rt. 15, New Columbia, where the memorial service will be held at noon.
The family is being assisted by the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St., Watsontown.
