Vivian L. Armstrong

Vivian L. Armstrong, 62, of Muncy, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, October 19, 2024 at Milton Nursing and Rehab Center.

She was born August 28, 1962 in Sellersville to the late Stanley Sr. and Shirley (Moyer) Tarantino. On August 14, 1981 she married William L. Armstrong Jr. who predeceased her on July 7, 2018.

Vivian was a 1980 graduate of Muncy High School. She previously worked at Friendly’s, Eagle Janitorial and cleaned for the YMCA in Williamsport.

Vivian valued her faith and was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Muncy, where she sang in the choir and enjoyed church functions.

She loved cats, watching NASCAR, and going to auctions, yard sales and the beach. Most importantly, Vivian loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a loving and caring person who wanted to do good for others.

Surviving are one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Jennifer Armstrong, of Muncy; three brothers, Stanley “Rick” Jr., Jerry and William Tarantino, all of Quakertown; one sister, Dawn Mitchell, of Quakertown; and three grandchildren, Jonah William Armstrong, Stephen James Armstrong and Summer Fremberg.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is predeceased by one brother, Scott Tarantino.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, October 24 at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St. Muncy.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, October 25 at Grace Baptist Church, 5471 Clarkstown Road, Muncy, with Pastor Charles Teffeteller, officiating.

Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
