Wanda Y. Rodriguez Marrero

Wanda Y. Rodriguez Marrero, 58, of Lewisburg, died Sunday, November 19, 2023 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

Born April 28, 1965 in Santurce, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Javier Rodriguez Ferrer and Idalia Marrero Santiago, who survives.  On July 16, 1988 she married Angel Manuel Ortiz Laureano, who survives.

Wanda graduated high school and earned an associate degree in accounting, in Puerto Rico.  She formerly worked for HP and most recently as a Realtor Assistant in Ocala, FL.

Wanda enjoyed coloring, painting, listening to music and dancing.  She also was fond of traveling and was in a camping club back in Puerto Rico.

Surviving in addition to her husband and mother are five children, Angel Ortiz and his wife, Rita, of Ocala, FL, Virginia Ortiz, of Puerto Rico, Orlando Ortiz and his wife, Amy, of Milton, Karla Ortiz, of Lewisburg, and Angel Ortiz and his wife, Isabel Vasquez, of Lewisburg; three brothers, Javier Rodriguez and his wife, Edith, of Ocala, FL, Orlando Rodriguez and his wife, Heidy, of Orlando, FL, and Josue Rodriguez and his wife, Jacky Betancourt, of Haines City, FL; and nine grandchildren, Tyrique, Jakaila, Manuel, Jovani, Kiara, Jowel, Stella, Idamis and Zahir.

Friends will be received from 11 a.m. to Noon on Friday, November 24, at the Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, S. Second and St. Louis Streets, Lewisburg, where a funeral will be held at Noon with Pastor Butch Woolsey, officiating.

Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
