Wendy J. Kepner, 43, of 147 Burley Drive, Montgomery, died Sunday, May 18, 2014 at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center.
Born November 11, 1970 in Muncy, she was a daughter of Jane (Miller) Vance, of Hughesville.
Wendy was a 1989 graduate of Muncy High School and a graduate of Empire Beauty School. She worked at various area retail stores and last year enjoyed volunteering at Banks Bargains, Muncy.
Wendy was of Christian faith.
She loved crafting and scrap booking, weekend shopping trips with her sisters, taking trips to the beach and spending time with her beloved dog, Benjamin.
Surviving in addition to her mother are her daughter, Samantha Quava, of Montgomery; step father, Gary Vance, of Hughesville; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Tammy Koch and her husband, Ed Koch Sr., of Muncy, Jody Banks, of Williamsport, and Gina Wood, of Picture Rocks; grandmother, Dorrie Miller, of Montgomery; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her grandfather, James Miller.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday in Muncy Cemetery. Officiating will be Pastor Max L. Walters, Jr. of Lairdsville Faith Church, Hughesville.
The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to help support Wendy’s daughter. Make checks payable to Santander Bank and specify in the memo for the Samantha Quava trust account. Checks can be mailed to Santander Bank, 20 S. Main St, Muncy, PA 17756.
The family is being assisted by Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy.
