William C. “Will” Leiser, III, 42, formerly of Watsontown and most recently of McAlisterville, died Tuesday, December 2 at Lewistown Hospital.
He was born October 19, 1972 in Williamsport, the son of William C. Leiser, II of Murfreesboro, TN and Cheryl (Miller) Rhoades, of Flint Hill, VA.
Will was a 1992 graduate of the Sun Area Technical Institute through Lewisburg High School.
He formerly worked as a truck driver and for United Airlines. Most recently he was self-employed with his business of transporting the Amish in the McAlisterville area.
Will enjoyed traveling and the great outdoors. He loved fishing, especially with his nephews whom he looked forward to teaching the love of the sport.
Surviving in addition to his parents are a stepmother, Shirley Leiser, of Mufreesboro, TN; a stepfather, Dennis Rhoades, of Flint Hill, VA; one sister and brother-in-law, Andrie and Jerry Rovenolt and their children, Adam and Aaron, all of Queenstown, MD; and his significant other, Jan Leister, of McAlisterville.
He was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, William and Bernice Leiser; and his maternal grandparents, Bob and Marilouise (Hefty) Miller.
A Memorial service will be held Friday at 10 a.m. at Cronrath-Grenoble Funeral Home, 308 Main St. Watsontown, with Rev. Faron Johnson, officiating.
Burial will follow in Green Lawn Memorial Park, Montgomery.
The family will provide the flowers and suggest contributions in Will’s name be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church (Delaware Run), 6590 Musser Lane, Watsontown, PA 17777.
