William L. "Bill" Pearson

William L. “Bill” Pearson, 74, of Watsontown, died on Thursday, January 20, 2022 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

Born February 6, 1947 in Johnstown, he was a son of the late William Pearson and Lillian (Bittner) Dick.  On May 26, 2007 he married the former Wendy Byers, who survives.  Together they celebrated 14 years of marriage.

Bill was a graduate of Conemaugh Valley High School. Earlier in life, he worked for the Bethlehem Mines. Bill would later retire from White Deer Run of Allenwood.

An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting, fishing, shooting, reloading ammunition, trapping and taxidermy. Bill enjoyed a little bit of everything, including raising tropical fish, breeding dogs, photography, metal detecting, motorcycles, music and cooking.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Tammy Bohannon, of Watsontown, Chris Pearson, of White Township, Aaron Pearson, of Johnstown and Jaime Pearson, of Wilkes-Barre; two step daughters, Wanda Doyle, of Hellam and Jen Ryan, of Portland, OR; a brother, Keith Dick, of Dayton, OH; a sister, Kimberly Percinsky, of Johnstown; 11 grandchildren, Brittany, Ashley, Makayla, Kaitlyn, Bailey, Kara, Landon, Hunter, Kyle, Khloe and William and four great-grandchildren, Hunter, Kyler, McKenna and Frank.

In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by his step father who raised him, Gene Dick.

Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.

The family is being assisted by Grenoble Funeral Home & Crematory, 308 Main St. Watsontown.
