Mary Rose Robbins, 88, of Catuala, GA and formerly of Muncy, died Wednesday, February 24, 2016.
Born August 5, 1927 in Williamsport, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Mary Bessie (Dickie) Benchino.
Mary was a veteran of World War II, serving honorably in the U.S. Army, where she was a recipient of the American Campaign Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. She loved spending her days, raising and caring for her family.
Mary enjoyed baking, gardening, bird watching and reading.
Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Christina Showers, of Selinsgrove, Lorena and Jesse Woodward, of Catuala, GA and Linda and Billy Morgan, of Prattville, AL; two sons, Wayne Robbins, of Muncy and Jason Robbins, of Valley, AL; 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a daughter, Regina Fry; and two sisters, Virginia and Bertha.
Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Grenoble’s, 121 S. Main St., Muncy, where the funeral will be held at 2 p.m.
Burial will follow in Muncy Cemetery.
